We are an independent laboratory.

We test for Worm Burdens in horses known as Faecal Egg Counts (FECs).
FECs can enable horse owners to complement their worming programme by designing it specifically for the living conditions of the individual horse or group of horses.
They transform worming recommendations i.e. the timing and the product from a guess to an informed, targeted and strategic approach.

It is important the sample is fresh and tested within 48 hours, 
to ensure an accurate reading.

Horses must not have been wormed 10 - 14 days prior to a test.

We are able to help with any questions regarding worming, 
the administration of worming products and pasture management.
